Course Description:
Students will begin to explore the world of magnified optics on AR-platform rifles and expand on the capabilities of the platform. Class will be open to both AR10 and AR15 type rifles, and will be conducted from standing, kneeling, prone, and a variety of props/barricades at targets from 50-600 yards.
You will learn:
- How to verify your 50-yard “zero”
- An explanation of the “50-200” zero
- A basic education in ballistics
- How to identify different targets and their positions/distances relative to the firing line.
- Comparisons to the higher-quality ammo
What to Bring:
- 300 Rounds of Ammunition
- Semi-automatic AR platform rifle
- Mounted Magnified optic
- Sandbag/support bag preferred
- Bipod preferred
- Eye & Ear Protection
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Sunscreen, pants, closed toes athletic shoes/boots, hat, long sleeves, if desired
- Food (Snacks + Meal) & Plenty of Liquids
